Worrall: I can't wait

WINGER David Worrall says he can't wait to get cracking with the Millers.

WINGER David Worrall  says he can't wait to get cracking with the Millers.

The 23-year-old joined the New York Stadium Club for an undisclosed fee, believed to be a six-figure sum, from troubled Bury.

Worrall, a prized asset at Gigg Lane, was contracted for another year but opted to leave after the club was relegated last term and it looked as though he was on the way to Crawley Town.

But after Steve Evans stepped in, the player was quick to changed his mind and put pen to paper with the Millers.

Worrall told the Advertiser: “I was on my way for a medical when my agent rang and told me that Rotherham were interested and had put a bid in.

“I went to have a look around and it looks fantastic. It didn’t take much for me to agree terms and now I can’t wait to get started."
