"It was one of the best goals that you will ever see," said manager Ronnie Moore, who was also delighted with his side's performance.

Kevin Ellison struck twice in seven minutes to cancel out Lee Bullock's opener and put the Millers 2-1 up at the interval. It was just what they deserved for an impressive first-half performance.

Michael Flynn equalised within a minute of the restart before Roberts' piece of improvisation and a late goal from Drew Broughton sealed the points at 4-2.

"I thought we were the best side by a mile," said Moore. "It was a great all-round team performance."

The win was Rotherham's first in five games and sets them up nicely for this weekend's six-pointer at home to Dagenham and Redbridge, who sit just two points behind them in fourth place.
