The Rotherham Golf Club pro stunned the golfing world with his victory last year but has struggled since.

Only three players have ever successfully defended a Masters title and Willett knows that even the best golf of his career may not be good enough for a repeat.

Speaking to the Advertiser before flying out to the States, he said: "You can never say you are playing well enough to be in a position to be able to defend the Masters. The two don't go hand in hand. Sometimes you come up trumps, sometimes you fail miserably. I'm just trying to get back, game wise, into a position where I feel I have a chance to go there and play well."
