Warne: We'll be respectful of Crewe

PAUL Warne will today name his team for the FA Cup opener at Crewe, saying: "We know how tough it will be."

The Millers will look to put to rest a poor record in the competition when they head to Gresty Road, Warne coming up against former team-mat David Artell, who is now the Alex manager.

Says Warne in tomorrow's Advertiser: "We haven't had a good Cup run here for years and it would be nice to have one.

"Dave Artell is a mate and he'll want to beat us. Crewe are a difficult team to play because on their day they can be excellent but they've had good results and bad ones and I don't think there's massive difference between the top of League Two and League One.

"We will be respectful and we've done our research on them. I think they'll come at us early on and we need to be able to withstand that. It'll be nice to get through and get a home draw in the next round."
