Warne: "I'm not ruling out Pringle return"

ROTHERHAM United manager Paul Warne hasn't ruled out a move for former favourite Ben Pringle in the new year.

The two-times Millers promotion winner has seen his career stall at Preston North End and boss Alex Neil has told him he is free to move in January.

"At the moment we're more than comfortable out wide but between now and January you don't know what's going to happen with dips in form and injuries," Warne told the Advertiser.

"I think the world of Prings and it's not that I've forgotten about him. A winger is not a necessity for me but it can all change, I wouldn't rule it out."

Meanwhile, Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy has hinted he could recall 11-goal loan man Kieffer Moore in January.

Moore has been a revelation for the Millers since his summer arrival on a year-long-loan and his form hasn't gone unnoticed by his boss at parent club Ipswich.

January would be the first opportunity the Championship side have to pull the 25-year-old back.
