VIDEO: Singing plumber Paul launches new England World Cup song

SINGING plumber Paul Ballington is at it again with his World Cup warblings — and this time there’s something of the Mystic Meg about him.

The dad of two has struck a chord with his topical tunes over the years and this summer is no different, with his video for “I’d Love It” having clocked up 3,800 YouTube views and rising.

The eerily-prescient song even includes the line “I’d love it, if we beat them 4-3. I’d love it, I’d love it, even on penalties” — exactly what happened to England against Colombia on Tuesday night.

Now Paul, (40), of Dinnington, is urging everyone to get in the World Cup spirit by checking out the clip online ahead of Saturday’s quarter-final showdown with Sweden.

“It is quite simple and catchy so people will hopefully get into it and getting singing along,” said Paul.
