At Clifton Lane newly promoted Rotherham Town B entertained Mexborough and came out winners in a close contest.

Town were put in and opener James Wadsworth batted well for 43.

The mainstay of the innings was Rotherham skipper David Mace, who smashed 11 fours in his 88—made in just 100 balls—as Rotherham set a target of 203—9.

Ryan Tingle took 3—41 and Steven Honeyman 3—54 for Mexborough.
