Titans target Millmoor

The club have been in talks for several months with Rotherham Borough Council and the Booth family, who own the Millmoor site, and say they are at an advanced stage.

But any concrete devlopments depend on agreeing a long-term lease, along with meeting the financial demands of upgrading the former Millers’ home.

Titans see a switch away from their cramped Clifton Lane home as essential if they are to reach the Premiership for a third time.

Chairman Nick Cragg believes a move is the only option if the club is to realise its goals.

He said: “We have realised that we have to move and the best solution will be for Rotherham Rugby Club to play at Millmoor."
