Titans poised to make new signings

It is understood that the Clifton Lane men could wrap up the signing of at least one new player tonight while they have also set their sights on another.

Meanwhile, Rotherham head to Ampthill on Saturday in pursuit of a sixth straight National One win.

Last week’s victory over Plymouth left them joint top - but rugby director Martin Jenkinson knows it will be tough.

“This Saturday is a big one for us. To go there and get a result against one of the fancied teams this season will be a big marker,” he said.

“It will be a big arm wrestle up front and if we can match them there and move the ball around as we have been doing then it’s one we can win.”
