Titans' plea to fans

TITANS are rallying supporters to clear the snow off the pitch as they desperately try to get Saturday's game with Exeter on.

An army of fans, players and officials will meet at Clifton Lane tonight at 5pm, armed with shovels, rakes and wheelbarrows to try and clear the three inches of snow off the surface.

And an appeal has gone out for anyone who wants to help to go along.

Said coach Craig West: "We are looking for as many people as possible to come and help us. If we get the snow off and the temperatures don't drop again, then we could get the game on."

The clash with promotion-chasing Exeter is scheduled for Saturday. If that isn't possible, it could go ahead on Sunday. Kick off will be 2pm.
