Titans defeat "not acceptable"

TITANS coach Craig West says Rotherham have to hit back immediately from Saturday's defeat against Moseley if they are to avoid being sucked into the relegation scrap.

Rotherham went down 19-7 to the Birmingham outfit on Saturday after one of their worst performances for years, with West blasting: "I've told the players it just wasn't acceptable.

"If we are to get out of this we can't afford to play like that again. We just weren't good enough."

Titans put in a lacklustre shift to score just one try with Moseley taking four precious points thanks to two first half touch-downs and three second half penalties.

They travel to arch-rivals Doncaster this Sunday. Added West: "We now have to go there and make amends by winning."
