Titans coach apologises to fans

COACH Craig West has apologised to the hard band of Titans fans who made the marathon trip to Ayr on Friday night, saying: “They deserved better than that.”

Rotherham took over 50 fans to the West Scotland outpost and they watched in frustration as the Titans’ were punished for a string of errors.

Now West wants his team to make amends, starting tomorrow at Plymouth.

He said: “Quite a few fans made their up there and to have support like that is fantastic.

“But we must say sorry to them because that error count was unacceptable.

“The best way of putting the record straight will be by winning at Plymouth. If we can get a result there, it could just turn our season around.”
