TONIGHT'S 2022 Women's Euros match at AESSEAL New York Stadium is set to be a sizzler.
Temperatures are forecast still to be in the mid-30s Celcuis by the time France and Iceland meet in the tournament's last Group D fixture.
UEFA have implemented cooling breaks for the players and match officials for the final round of qualifiers after the UK government announced a red warning for extreme heat — the highest alert level — over the next two days.
France have already qualified for the quarter-finals thanks to two victories against Italy (5-1) and Belgium (2-1), both in Rotherham.
And as Group winners they will be back at the NYS on Saturday (8pm) for a last-eight clash against defending champions and Group C runners-up the Netherlands.
Iceland have drawn both their games against Belgium and Italy and currently hold the second qualifying spot on goals difference.
Belgium and Italy meet at 8pm in Manchester.
Tonight's match will again be preceded by a fans' party in Rotherham town centre from 2pm-6pm featuring music and other attractions.
