Snow-shifting starts at Don Valley
ROTHERHAM United today began the task of trying to get their pitch fit for next Tuesday's match against Darlington.
Ground staff plus a team of helpers from Don Valley Stadium operators Sheffield International Venues moved in to clear snow from the playing surface this morning.

Hide AdThe ground hasn't hosted a first-team match since Rotherham played Burton Albion on December 5.
Millers groundsman Jim Davison said: "We've started the clearance work and the indications are so far that the pitch is in good condition underneath."
Jim is now hoping that the warmer temperatures forecast for this weekend continue into next week to enable the match to go ahead.
