Parkgate's home match with FC Humber United and Swallownest's fixture against Retford, both in the Northern Counties East League, were among the casualties and only seven out of 26 fixtures survived in the Central Midlands League.

Maltby Main's Muglet Lane ground was fit for play, however, but their clash with Garforth was in the latter stages when the match was abandoned due to a head injury to Maltby's Reggie Waud. He is said to be on the mend.

Biggest local winners of the weekend were Rotherham Titans, who ran in 11 tries on the way to a 71-5 win at Loughborough.

It was the Titans' eighth straight victory and takes them up to third in National Two North.
