Ryan takes Scots crown

ICE-ACE Ryan Sharp has claimed another top title, winning the Scottish Solo Dance crown.

The Wickersley School pupil competed against some of Britain’s top skaters at the championships in Dumfies.

He was second in the rankings after the samba section, but took top spot following the free dance.

Said mum Elaine: “The competition was of a very high standard, but Ryan skated superbly."
