Rotherham United appoint new fitness coach

ROTHERHAM United interim manager Paul Warne has hired Ross Burbeary as his new fitness coach on a contract until the end of the season.

Burbeary, who has had spells at Nottingham Forest and Doncaster Rovers, fills the role departed by Warne when he took over as caretaker manager from previous boss Kenny Jackett.

Warne said: "Ross worked at Nottingham Forest for a few years recently.

"I knew him before, he contacted me and was local, so it was a no-brainer for me.

"I need more hands on deck, I'm the first to say I've probably spread myself too thin recently, so he's a happy addition to us."
