Rotherham Town sign off with victory on neutral ground

ROTHERHAM Town ended their South Yorkshire Senior League campaign with a victory on neutral territory against Upper Haugh.

Saturday's match was moved due to a fixture clash at Clifton Lane with Rotherham Titans' National One rugby match against Sale FC.

Town instead played at Norton Woodseats CC and secured a good victory which secures them third place in Division One.

Haugh were all out for 191, of which Chris Pearson struck 70, before Town knocked off the runs for the loss of three wickets. Luke Staveley was top bat with 91.

Town thanked Woodseats CC on Twitter for their co-operation and wished Titans players and their families all the best for the coming season.
