Rotherham Titans wing Henry Roberts bags try hat-trick in big win for Yorkshire

ROTHERHAM Titans winger Henry Roberts scored a try hat-trick as Yorkshire got off to a winning start in the County Championship at the weekend.

Roberts' treble helped forge a 59-3 victory over Northumberland at Bradford and Bingley's ground.

Yorkshire crossed the line nine times in all. The starting line-up also included Titans full-back Callum Irvine, prop Will Dennis and back row Zak Poole.

Two more Rotherham players, centre Harry Dunn and front row Rikki Stout, were among the replacements.

Yorkshire's next game is against Cheshire at Huddersfield YMCA on Saturday (3pm).
