Rotherham Titans match postponed due to Covid outbreak

ROTHERHAM Titans will not play this weekend due to an outbreak of Covid-19 in the camp.

Two players tested positive and other squad members who had contact with them at training on Tuesday night have had to be tested as a result.

The information was relayed to the National League and with time tight and results still to come back, the NCA ruled that tomorrow's away game at Chester be postponed.

Rotherham's Director of rugby, Martin Jenkinson, said today that as things stand Titans could only pick from a squad of 12.

The National Two North fixture was to have been the first for new head coach Adam Byron, who joined this week from Sheffield RUFC after the resignation of Steve Salvin.

His first match in charge will now be on Saturday week at home to Tynedale.
