Rotherham Titans look for winning Clifton Lane finale

ROTHERHAM Titans aim to sign off on a high when they play their final home match of the season against in-form Bishop's Stortford today.

The visitors are red hot at the moment, winning nine of their last ten matches to surge from the lower reaches of National One to mid-table.

But come 4pm,head coach Joe Barker wants Rotherham to be the ones celebrating.

“This is the last home game so we want to make it a big one and enjoy ourselves afterwards,” he told the Advertiser.

“After everything that has gone on this year, we are going to celebrate the end of the season here with the fans in the clubhouse.

“I think the fans are happy, the club is in a better place. It has taken a lot of hard work and hopefully we can mark it with a win.”

Joe Barker: back in action for the Titans today.

Titans remain fifth in National One but with the gap to next team Plymouth trimmed to four points, they need a bit of security ahead of the two trips to Blackheath and Old Elthamians to end the campaign.
