Rotherham Titans directors to meet fans at Q&A night

THE directors of Rotherham Rugby Club address supporters tonight amid continuing uncertainty as to when the 2020/21 season will start.

The RFU has drawn up a graduated Return to Play protocol mapping out a stage by stage route back to competitive action for teams up and down the country in line with Government guidance.

That process looked to be accelerating until the recent upsurge in coronavirus infections caused a tightening of social distancing rules this week. 

A trial to let crowds into sporting events on October 1 has also been paused.

It has left clubs like Rotherham facing financail shortfalls and merely  “ticking over” until they can properly put final plans for the new campaign into action. Titans will be competing in National Two North. 

Tonight's meeting and question and answer session at Clifton Lane takes place from 7pm.
