Rotherham schools cross country: PICTURE GALLERY

KIMBERWORTH schools, Winterhill and St. Bede’s, claimed win doubles as hundreds of youngsters fought out the Rotherham Schools Cross Country Championships at Herringthorpe.

 

Winterhill were at the double in the Intermediate Girls and Year 7 categories; Natasha Hatswell taking the former and Masie Elliot the latter.

 

St. Bede’s won the Year 3 and 4 Boys title through Matthew Porter and added to it when Tara Cooke took first prize in the Girls’ Year 5 and 6 crown.

In the Intermediate Boys section, Clifton’s Liam Flint took top prize while in the Junior Boys Wales High School’s Luke Cotter was top.

Swinton’s Emma Dutton headed the Junior Girls and in the Year 7 Boys category, Maltby’s Devon Stead took top prize.

 

At Year 5 and 6 level, James Lonsdale of Harthill was the boys’ winner.

 

In the Year 3 and 4 section, Redscope’s Chris Boulton was first past the tapes.
