MILLERS manager Ronnie Moore will meet goal star Adam Le Fondre today to thrash out his demand for a new contract.
The striker, being watched by several clubs, is wanting an extension to his current deal which still has over 18 months to run.
This week's transfer deadline passed with just one move for the player, Plymouth Argyle offering former Barnsley striker Rory Fallon in part exchange.
Moore dismissed the offer as a "joke" and it was rejected immediately by chairman Tony Stewart.
Now it seems that Le Fondre will be asking for more money having seen his stock rise significantly since joining the club 12 months ago, rattling in 36 goals.
Moore said: "I will speak to Alfie today to see what his feelings are but obviously (money wise) we have a limit to where we can go."
Le Fondre, meanwhile, has shaken off a calf niggle in time for tomorrow's second versus third clash at Shrewsbury.
