Ronnie Moore leaves Hartlepool

FORMER Rotherham United manager has left his job at Hartlepool United.

Moore, who saved the Pools from relegation from the Football League last season, has left the club by "mutual consent."

It comes just two days after Millers manager Neil Redfearn left the New York Stadium after less than four months in charge.

Hartlepool chairman Gary Coxall said: “This is an extremely difficult decision but one we feel is right for the football club.

“Ronnie has worked tirelessly to bring success to the Club during his time at The Vic and we thank him sincerely for those efforts and wish him well for the future.”

Neil Warnock remains the bookies' favourite to replace Redfearn at Rotherham United.
