Ronnie: I can't wait to get stuck in!

The two-time Rotherham boss was appointed Pools boss on Wednesday and immediately started work preparing his side for tomorrow's clash with Oxford United.

Ronnie (61) faces the job of clawing back a six-point deficit with Hartlepool stuck at the foot of League Two.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for me and I can’t wait to get going, that’s for sure,” said Ronnie.

“I’ve been out of it too long but I’ve never lost my appetite, my enthusiasm or my endeavour and I really can’t wait to get stuck in to the lads."
