ROTHERHAM United manager Ronnie Moore has been frustrated in his attempts to bring in loan signings before this weekend's clash with Aldershot Town.

Speaking after Saturday's defeat at Bury, Moore (pictured) stated his intent to bring in new blood to pep up his squad after a poor run of only one win from his first five matches in charge.

The recruitment efforts have so far drawn a blank and Moore said last night that any transfer activity would now most likely take place after the Aldershot game.

Moore said: "I've spoken to a couple of people but nothing has happened. The players we bring in have got to be better than the ones we have got.

"Something might happen next week but in the meantime we've circulated other clubs telling them we've got players available to go out on loan. There's no specific names in there and we want to see what they come back with."

Kick-off at Don Valley tomorrow is 3pm.
