Pole vaulter Adam Hague claims British Indoor crown

POLE vaulter Adam Hague is the new British Indoor champion.

The Rotherham athlete jumped an impressive 5.55m in Glasgow at the weekend to take the title.

Hague missed the championships in 2019 through injury but came back to win in style.

The 22-year-old, who represents City of Sheffield and Dearne Athletics Club, said: "Being out injured most of last year has made the win extra special."

Adam has now set his sights on European and Olympic qualifying.
