OPINION: Do you agree with Redfearn or Evans?

ROTHERHAM United manager Neil Redfearn hit out at the club’s summer transfer activity following Tuesday night’s 2-0 defeat away at Huddersfield.

It was the Millers’ third defeat on the spin and Redfearn made his thoughts on the squad he inherited plainly obvious in his post-match analysis.

The former Leeds United manager said:  “This squad of players isn`t good enough for this level.

“We`re second from the bottom of the league.

“We just scraped by last year and probably didn’t recruit very well in the summer. We let good players like (Kari) Arnason, (Craig) Morgan, (Alex) Revell go who are better players than what we`ve got.

“We brought in players who were sub-standard and now we’re left with this.”

Those comments brought a reply from former Rotherham boss and current Leeds United manager Steve Evans who left the Millers back in September before taking the reins at the West Yorkshire club.

Evans replied:  “I could have said that here (Leeds United) couldn’t I but I have got too much professionalism about myself.

“I have read those comments and it just sounds like a man who is under extreme pressure and wonders what happens if he loses the next one.”

This all comes before Rotherham and Leeds meet in the FA Cup third round at Elland Road on January 9.

But we want to know what you think Millers fans. Do you agree with Redfearn that the summer business wasn’t the best? Or do you believe Evans was correct in saying Redfearn sounds like a man under pressure? Maybe you couldn’t care less what both managers think and would rather think about the football? Whatever your opinion, comment below and let us know.
