With the deadline for loan deals approaching on Friday, the management team are looking for a couple of new faces to improve their squad.

There is also the possibility other players could move out this week on temporary deals, as central defender Michael Ihiekwe did when he joined Accrington on Friday.

And if they do want to move, the exit door will not be blocked.

Assistant manager Richie Barker said: "If nobody goes then that's no issue but if somebody comes and says they're not happy with the amount of game time they're getting then so be it.

"The manager has been pretty clear on that from day one. If you're not happy, come and knock on the door and we will let you go."

The Millers are braced for a busy week in the wake of Sunday's win over Millwall, with tomorrow night's Carabao Cup trip to Everton followed by another trip back over the Pennines on Saturday to play Wigan.

Added Barker: "It will be busy with the Everton game and we will be working hard to get someone in.

"It will be a test for the squad but we're also aware the transfer window closes so there are going to be late nights and plenty of telephone conversations."
