No games or training at Rotherham Rugby Club for four weeks

ROTHERHAM Rugby Club has halted all games and training from senior to junior level in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.

The announcement follows the Rugby Football Union's decision to suspend all levels of the game in England until April 14.

A Titans statement said: "Following the RFU guidance issued yesterday, we can confirm that there will be no games or training at Rotherham Rugby Club for the next four weeks.

"This applies to all levels of rugby, from our first Team in National One, down through all the levels to the minis, and includes the children's camps that were being planned for the Easter holidays.

"We will keep you updated on any developments as we get them through our social media channels and website.

"Please stay safe, follow the public health advice and keep in touch.

"We wish all our players, members and supporters the best of health in these difficult times and we look forward to seeing you back at Clifton Lane very soon."

Rotherham's three Yorkshire League clubs, Dinnington, Wath and Rotherham Phoenix, are also affected.
