Netball club makes appeal for new players from Rotherham

A NETBALL club is reaching out to Rotherham to attract new talent to its ranks

As restrictions ease, so sport begins to flourish again and Sheffield Concord Netball Club are back indoor training with huge interest from current and new members.

South Yorkshire outdoor leagues have already started where all their U12, 13, 14, 16 and three senior teams have faced competition under the rules of modified netball, set by the governing body to allow safe return to the sport.

The junior section continues to flourish and is looking forward to competing in South Yorkshire and regional leagues next season with some fresh faces.

With this in mind the club are enlarging their performance squads and are inviting Year 7, 8, 9 and 10s from Rotherham for trials with the aim of playing county level and above. There are also vacancies in their 'Bee Netball' sessions aimed at Y3-6.
