National Youth Boxing Championships coming to Rotherham

ROTHERHAM hosts the England Boxing National Youth Championships this weekend.

The event is being held on Saturday and Sunday at the Magna Science Adventure Centre and will feature some of the best male and female boxers in the UK for their age, born in 2003 and 2004, including European champions.

More than 190 teenage hopefuls will compete across weight divisions ranging from Under 36kg to Over 80kg.

Tickets are available from the ticket desk inside the venue priced at £20 for adults, £10 concessions (65+) and £5 children (6 to 15 years), while 5s and under are free.

Payment for tickets is cash only.

Two boxing rings will be in place on both days of action. Boxing will commence at 1pm (doors noon) on Saturday and noon (doors 11am) on Sunday.
