National roadshow celebrating 2022 UEFA Women’s Euros set to visit Rotherham as tournament excitement builds

A FREE national roadshow promoting the 2022 UEFA Women's Euros comes to Rotherham next weekend.

The event, at Clifton Park on Sunday, May 22 (11am-5pm), will showcase the best of football, fitness and music, providing families, fans and those that are yet to experience football with the opportunity to get involved in an unmissable tournament.

Organisers want to inspire more communities, particularly young people and families, to be part of the biggest European women's sport event in history which includes three games at AESSEAL New York Stadium in July.

Featuring live music from local artists and a showpiece football pitch, alongside the chance to get a picture with the trophy itself, the event will provide fun for all the family.

Additionally, there will be opportunities to meet legends from the women's game, take part in interactive challenges and find out more about getting involved in grassroots football, the tournament, and how to purchase tickets.

The roadshow will also visit other host towns and cities.

Rotherham Council's Cabinet Member for Social Inclusion, Cllr David Sheppard, said: "The roadshow is a fantastic event for the community to come together and celebrate a huge moment in football.
