Moore urges end to Millers doom and gloom

Ronnie Moore is calling on the fans to think positive as the Millers prepare to face Accrington tonight.

TEAM boss Ronnie Moore hopes Rotherham United can go into the last dozen games with the full backing of the supporters, starting at Accrington tonight.

The Millers stifled the critics with a good win at Dagenham at the weekend, plunging them back into the thick of the League Two promotion battle after two successive defeats.

Moore, who has been the target of much of the stick, said: “Everyone is doom and gloom as if it’s the end of the world, but there’s still 12 games to go. We got a result on Saturday and other results also went for us.

“People panic. I don’t mind criticism so long as it is constructive and done in the right way. It’s frustrating but it doesn’t worry me.”

Rotherham can complete a league double over Accrington at the Fraser Eagle Stadium tonight, having beaten them on the opening day of the season.

A win would also earn a place back in the automatic promotion frame.

Kick-off is 7.45pm.
