MANAGER Ronnie Moore lambasted his defence after seeing the Millers squander a 2-0 lead at home to Burton Albion on Saturday.

A double from Adam Le Fondre had Rotherham on course for three points with less than  half an hour to play until strikes by Aaron Webster and Greg Pearson earned the visitors a point.

Millers centre-half Nick Fenton was sent off on 73 minutes for a bad tackle on Pearson.

Moore said: "I'm bitterly disappointed. When you go 2-0 up it should be game, set and match.

"Of the back four, only Ian Sharps came out with credit. If you've got three of your back four not quite at it, you've got problems."

Fenton's straight red card means an automatic three-match ban, starting with tomorrow's FA Cup second-round replay at Luton Town.
