Moore praises Le Fondre double whammy

RONNIE Moore was quick to praise hit-man Adam Le Fondre after Rotherham United climbed into the automatic promotion rankings with Tuesday's 2-0 win over Lincoln City.

Le Fondre scored two stunners, one in each half, to light up an awful night at Don Valley - and leave Moore purring with delight. It took his tally for the season to 14.

"He's a special player," said Moore. "They were two wonderful goals and it was just a shame he didn't get his hat-track with that penalty near the end.

"I thought his first goal was exceptional, with a great burst of speed, but the second was also pretty good."

Le Fondre hit the opener after 36 minutes and then capped a great night's work when he latched onto om Pope's cross ten minutes from time.
