The deal will see him remain at the AESSEAL New York Stadium until the summer of 2020.

Kayode was handed his senior debut as a second-half substitute in the clash with Manchester City in the Checkatrade Trophy in August and was involved with Paul Warne's side again in the same competition at Bradford City earlier this month.

The 17-year-old has impressed in the youth ranks over the last couple of seasons and has been a regular scorer for Garreth Barker's side, who achieved a second placed finish in the Youth Alliance League with Kayode a key figure in 2016/17.
