Millers through to quarter finals

ROTHERHAM United are through to the last eight in the Northern Section of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy after a hard-fought 2-1 win at Burton Albion.

Ronnie Moore's men went through despite having rested top marksman Adam Le Fondre, with Tom Pope and Tom Elliottt starting up front.

But it was the midfield duo of Mark Bradley and Kevin Ellison who were the goal heroes. Bradley fired home a 65th minute stinger before Ellison added the second from the spot 12 minutes from time.

Burton pulled one back near the end, but Moore's men held on for the win.

Said Ronnie: "It was a good workout and we'll wait to see who we get in the next round now."
