MILLERS managerial duo Paul Warne and Richie Barker shared stories from their careers at a fellowship group’s milestone anniversary celebrations.
The pair were guest speakers at Rotherham Round Table’s 90th Charter evening on Wednesday, alongside national Round Table president Richard Holland.
Warne and Barker, who joined forces to manage the Millers in 2017, spoke of their passion for the club and relived personal highlights such as the late, late winner against Doncaster Rovers last season’s League One promotion push.
Barker, whose father Melvin died from motor neurone disease in 2001, is a big supporter of the Motor Neurone Disease Association and £450 was raised on the night for the charity.
This included £120 raised by the auction of a Millers shirt signed by the current squad and club legends Warne, Barker and Mike Pollitt.
