Millers land plum cup draw against Premier League Everton
ROTHERHAM United will square up to Premier League Everton in the Carabao Cup.
The Millers were paired with Marco Silva’s side in tonight’s second round draw, with the tie scheduled to take place at Goodison Park week commencing August 27.
It will only be the 11th time both teams have met competitively, with four of those meetings being in the League Cup.

Hide AdIn 1987 the Millers lost 3-2 at Goodison before drawing the second leg 0-0 at Millmoor.
The teams were paired together over two legs again in 1992, Rotherham winning the home leg 1-0 but dipping 3-0 on Merseyside.
Everton have never won the League Cup while Rotherham, who lost the inaugural final to Aston Villa in 1961, will be trying to reach the third round for the first time in ten years.
