Millers keen on Rodak return

ROTHERHAM United will look to bring Marek Rodak back to the club for another year after his parent club Fulham yesterday signed another goalkeeper.

The Craven Cottage men brought in Spanish goalkeeper Fabri from Besiktas on a three-year deal for a reported £5m fee — which means that Rodak could be allowed out on loan to continue his development.

Millers boss Paul Warne said recently that he wanted to bring Rodak back if Fulham were prepared to let the stopper go, once they had signed the top-line player they wanted.

Rodak, on a long-term contract with the Londoners, was an important member of the Millers squad last year and it is understood that Warne, Fulham and the player are in talks regarding a return.

Meanwhile, Rotherham take on Neil Warnock's Cardiff City tonight in their biggest pre-season game. Kick-off is 7.45pm.
