Millers fans turn players for Bramley charity match

A GROUP of Millers fans used to watching their heroes from the sidelines laced up their own boots for a chairity kickabout.

Organiser Reece Kellock and his fellow Kimmy Park Away Days members, who travel around the country watching Rotherham United, put together the match in aid of Rotherham Hospice “as its close to many hearts”.

The game at Flash Lane in Bramley was two months in the planning and all the players had personalised shirts.

After a tightly fought first half, the red team named DontListen.Com triumphed 2-0 over their white-wearing rivals TMJ Super White Army.

The fundraiser brought in more than £1,500 for the hospice, with an auction for a signed Millers match ball running on Reece Kellock’s Facebook profile until this Sunday and a boxing glove signed by Kell Brook still to be auctioned off.
