Kerry-Louise beaten in final

FIGHTER Kerry-Louise Norbury brought home a\!q silver medal from the WAKO World championships in Austria—after a contentious defeat against home-town girl Astrid Ottl in the final.
But Kerry-Louise was delighted with her performance against a girl almost a foot taller, despite having only take up the tougher K1 rules discipline a year ago.
Competing in Villach, in front of a full house at the National Ice Hockey Stadium and on live national TV, the Dinnington ace wasn’t fazed by the massive height disadvantage.
In a fast and furious bout, Kerry-Louise rocked her opponent several times but the judges’ decision went against her—although many in the stadium, including local fight fans, thought she had done enough to win.
