Bulgarian opponent Mlanden Manev pulled out of the scheduled bout at Sheffield's Ponds Forge Arena in what would have been Rotherham fighter Ali's third fight of the year.
The 29-year-old won the belt in May and made a successful defence in September.
Ali intends keeping busy next year with the stated aim of driving his way up the world rankings.
