It is rare for serial winners Joker to go into a local game as underdogs but that's the case in the decider at Parkgte FC (7pm) with Three Feathers looking to follow up a 4-1 win over Joker in a league clash a couple of weeks ago. A few weeks earlier, the two sides had fought out a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Three Feathers changed their name from Woodthorpe-based pub High Noon under which guise they were the last winners of the old Meadowhall Sunday League in 2018. A year earlier, they had lost to Joker in the final of the Sheffield Senior Sunday Cup.

They joined the Rotherham Sunday League three seasons ago, winning promotion to the Premier Division at the first attempt, and after the curtailed season a year ago, are set to usurp the 'big two', Joker and AFP, at the top.

Back in the first Charity Cup Final, Rotherham Town Res crushed Owlerton 9-0, still a record score with tonight's being the 125th final. Over a dozen Sheffield teams have appeared in the final but the last one was Ecclesfield CR in 1950.

Tonight is the 2020 final which was unable to be played last year, both clubs agreeing to the final going ahead when possible. This season's competition has not been held due to Covid-19 but the 2021/22 competition will start in August.
