Imps opener for Millers

ROTHERHAM United start the new League Two season at home to Lincoln City on August 7.

It is the second time in three seasons the clubs have met on the opening day, with the Millers having won the first meeting 1-0 in 2008/09, also at Don Valley.

The opening away league game brings a first ever trip to Morecambe's new Globe Arena while other highlights include successive home derbies against Chesterfield and Bradford City in September.

The Boxing Day fixture is an away match at Stockport County and the Millers have to wait until March to play at Chesterfield's new b2net stadium.

The season ends at Don Valley against Torquay United on May 7.
