RELEGATION-threatened Rotherham Hockey Club are six points adrift at the bottom of North One after suffering their worst defeat of the season.

They crashed 13-0 at home to mid-table City of York to remain without a win in ten games.

Rotherham face fellow strugglers Chapeltown at home tomorrow (12.30pm).

The seconds were also on the receiving end, losing 5-0 at Thirsk, and the thirds fared even worse on a bad day for the club as they were hammered 8-0 at City of York fourths.

The fourth team grabbed some respite as they beat City of York sixth team 3-1. Matt Berry (2) and Jon Bray hit their goals.
