Here's the deal ... a rundown on the contract situation of every senior Rotherham United player

PAUL DAVIS checks out the contract situation of all the senior pros on the books at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

GOALKEEPERS

Marek Rodak: The young Slovakian's second season-long loan spell ends in May when he is due to return to parent club Fulham.

Lewis Price: Rodak's understudy signed a two-year deal in July last year.

Laurence Bilboe: The youngster is out of contract at the end of the season.

DEFENDERS

Billy Jones: The ex-Premier League right-back is contracted until 2020 after signing for the Millers from Sunderland last summer.

Zak Vyner: He is scheduled to return to parent club Bristol City in May after a season-loan at Rotherham.

Semi Ajayi: Everyone is expecting summer bids for the centre-half who can also play in midfield. The Millers are in a position to demand a big fee if that's the case because the player is under contract for another year.

Michael Ihiekwe: The 12-month option on his contract has been activated so he will be a Millers player next season.

Clark Robertson

Clark Robertson: He has two more years after this season, having signed a three-year deal when he left Blackpool last summer.

Richard Wood: The veteran centre-half signed a contract extension in July taking him to the end of June next year.

Dominic Ball: He never established himself in the side after joining on a three-year deal from Spurs in 2016 and has spent the last two seasons on loan in Scotland. The 23-year-old will move on in the summer.

Manny Onariase: He has never made the league first team in his two years with Rotherham and has been on loan in non-league football. The former Brentford prospect will be free to find another club when his deal expires at the end of the season.

Joe Mattock: His contract is up in the summer and he and Paul Warne have held informal talks about a new deal. The player says he would be happy to stay.

Ben Purrington: Like Dominic Ball, the left-back is a forgotten man of AESSEAL New York Stadium, having been out on loan all season, at AFC Wimbledon and then Charlton Athletic. But he signed a three-and-a-half-year deal when he joined in January 2017 so still has another year left on his contract when this season comes to a close.

MIDFIELDERS/WINGERS

Jon Taylor: The record signing's three-year deal expires at the end of this season but there is an option to extend it and the club and the player have been talking. Taylor says he would love to stay.

Anthony Forde: The winger's three-year deal is up in the summer.

Richie Towell: The Irishman is on loan until end of season and his contract at parent club Brighton & Hove Albion runs out in the summer. His agent held talks with manager Paul Warne in January about a permanent switch to New York and further discussions are planned when the Championship campaign is over.

Will Vaulks: The club exercised their option to extend the midfielder's contract by 12 months, tying him to New York until the end of June 2020, but he is likely to be a wanted man in the summer and Championship clubs could be ready to make tempting bids.

Ben Wiles

Ben Wiles: Rotherham gave their home-grown talent a three-and-a-half-year deal in January. The 19-year-old midfielder is a top prospect and should be a key man next season.

Matt Crooks: The new boy is contracted until the summer of 2022 after signing from Northampton Town in January.

Matt Palmer: He has another year left on his contract. However, he hasn't been part of Warne's plans for months and could leave in the summer. The former Burton Albion man was expected to go out on loan in January but he stayed in South Yorkshire despite interest from several other clubs.

Darren Potter: The veteran midfielder's two-year deal ends in the summer and he hasn't kicked a ball for the senior side since December 2017 because of achilles issues, although he is nearing full fitness now. He impressed when he first joined the club but he is 34 and his future is likely to lie away from New York.

Joe Newell: The left winger is out of contract at the end of this season after four years with the Millers. He says he is open to staying.

Ryan Williams: New dad Williams is out of contract in the summer after two successful seasons with the Millers. He's proved his Championship worth and it's possible he will move on as he is keen to test himself at the best level possible.

Alex Bray: The one-time Swansea City youngster hasn't featured this season and has been out on loan. His two-year contract expires in the summer and the Millers are expected to release him.

STRIKERS

Michael Smith: The big frontman is another player who could attract interest in the summer, but Rotherham gave him a long-term deal earlier in the season and have him under contract until 2022.

Jamie Proctor: The striker whose time in South Yorkshire has been hit by injury committed his future to the Millers at the same time as Smith and has a deal that runs to the summer of 2021.

Kyle Vassell: Like Robertson, he agreed a three-year deal when he signed from Blackpool in pre-season.

Jerry Yates: The youngster who spent the early part of the campaign on loan at Carlisle United has a contract with Rotherham taking him to the end of next season.

David Ball: He joined the Millers from Fleetwood Town on a two-year contract in 2017 and played a big part in their promotion from League One, but he has spent most of this season on loan at Bradford City and his time at New York is likely to be over.
