Hedley at the double as Rotherham Titans' upsurge continues
ROTHERHAM Titans racked up four straight win for the first time this season at the expense of Preston Grasshoppers.
Titans scored six tries in a 38-7 victory with as convincing a shift as they have put in this term in National Two North, with wing Jack Hedley starting and finishing the try scoring.

Touchdowns from Hedley and Lewis Allan and a penalty try helped them to a 19-0 lead at half time.
Any chances of a Hoppers revival ended when they lost a man to a red card soon after the break and although they did manage a consolation score, Jack Bergmanas, skipper Zak Poole and Hedley again went over to round off a good day’s work.

Lloyd Hayes, switched to 10, added the goal points and Sam Veall filled in at scrum-half with aplomb.
Head coach Gary Pearce said: “With it being the last game at home, we wanted to play well and I think we are progressively getting better.
“At times we wanted to play too much rugby too quickly but we’ve won 6-1 on tries and probably could have put more points on the board. We are getting where we want to be.”
The five points nudged Titans up to fifth in the table and they end the season with two away games at relegated Harrogate next Saturday and then Sheffield Tigers the week after.
“Harrogate is a chance to make it five on the bounce and then we’ll go to Tigers and see how we go,” added Pearce.
